Absentee voting in Connecticut is a two-step process. A completed and signed Absentee Ballot Application must be filed with the Town Clerk before a ballot is issued. (It can be mailed to you, even overseas.) You can download a CT Absentee Ballot Application from the Secretary of State’s office here:
You must mail in or return the application in person (if a Fairfield or Southport resident) to:

Vote in one Visit!
After October 7th, if you meet the absentee voting criteria and wish to absentee vote in person, visit the Town Clerk's Office at 611 Old Post Road (203-256-3090) Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Registered voters can submit their Absentee Ballot Application, receive their Absentee Ballot, and vote in the same visit.
